LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Hub Organizing Committee (HOC) acknowledges that the land we meet and advocate on is the unceded and unsurrendered traditional territories of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnaabeg, the Ojibway/Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat Nations. We also acknowledge that today, Toronto is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, Métis and urban Indigenous peoples and is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit and the Williams Treaty signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.
